Chef Rimer Microwave Popcorn Popper Review

I received the Chef Rimer Microwave Popcorn Popper and was so excited to try it out since my daughter and I love popcorn. It is very easy to use but it does not come with instructions. There is a piece of paper that gives you a website to go to with a pdf file and video on how to use it.

I didn't have regular popcorn on hand so I just opened a bag of microwave popcorn and used that. After 3 minutes, I had a full bag of popcorn with only a few kernels that didn't pop. The microwave popcorn that I used was a extra butter movie style and I was worried about the butter. The butter melted perfectly without a mess.

Cleanup was very easy since it only takes water and soap to clean it. I'm not sure if you can put it in a dishwasher so I just hand wash it. Once I was done cleaning it, it collapses back down for convenient storage.

One point that everyone needs to know is that the bowl itself does get hot. It has handles to use when you are getting it out but I recommend not touching the bottom because it is very hot. When allowing children to use this product, make sure that they know not to touch the bottom. My microwave is only a 800 watt and I had it in for 3 minutes. It was extremely hot on the bottom to the point that it could burn your fingers.

This is a great product to have if you decide that you want to save money by buying a regular bag of kernel popcorn vs. microwave popcorn.

I received this product for free or highly discounted for my review. My opinion is 100% of my own.
