Mother's Day Challenge

With Mother's Day only a few days away and my daughter not really understanding what it is all about, I have decided that I would create my own gift to myself. I have been creating different photo collages of my daughter growing up through the years and I will be creating one post of all of them so that I have a few different digital copies to share with family and friends.

This is just one of the collages I have come up with and while making it, I realized that it's not the material gifts that makes Mother's Day so special but it's more about spending it with the people who you love the most.

I want to create a challenge to all my readers for Mother's Day! Instead of going out buying the usual cards, flowers, and gifts, I want to challenge all of you to actually create something personal for that special woman in your life.

Be creative and look around your home. You will be surprised at what you can find and reuse in your home. Go back to your childhood and remember how it felt to create something from the heart. I bet that your mother would really appreciate it much more than flowers that will die in a week.

Are you up for the challenge? Post pictures in the comments of what you have created and I will create a post of all the wonderful gifts!
