PetNov Dog/Cat Brush Grooming Glove+Collapsible Pet Bowl Review

                                           

I have a huge problem with pet hair since I have a dog and two cats. My dog, Toby, is a short hair Chihuahua which does not shed too much. However my two cats, Simba and Weezer, are a totally different story. I am constantly brushing my pets almost everyday but I'm still finding pet hair all over and it is driving me insane. I am always looking for the latest tool to help me in my battle with pet hair I was excited to try PetNov Dog/Cat Brush Grooming Glove.

When I first received the glove, I loved the fact that along with the glove, it included a folding pet travel bowl and a pamphlet to access an eBook with tips on how to minimize shedding pet hair which I really need. When I first looked at the glove, my first impression was, how will this help me with my pet hair problem. I have used several combs and brushes that were hard and this has several rubber nubs which I did not think would work on my pets but I still gave it a try.

I first tried it on my dog, Toby, and was shocked on how he reacted towards it since he hated all the others because they ended up irritating his skin. I think because it was so soft, it felt good on his skin. I proceeded to comb him for about an hour and was surprised how much hair I was able to get off of him. The only problem that I had with him was getting used to the way the glove felt on my hand and how to guide it over his body. The nice thing about the glove is that it has a velcro latch that allows people with different size hands to use it.

The next one I tried was my cat, Simba, who loves to get brushed. He was absolutely in heaven when I started combing him that he couldn't sit still. I was amazed on how much hair I got off of him in just 5 minutes of combing. After about an hour of combing him, I swear I had enough hair to have a small kitten. I then tried to comb my other cat, Weezer, but Simba was not having it. He was following me and talking up a storm. When I tried to comb Weezer, Simba decided that he would push poor Weezer out of the way. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Needless to say, I did get a chance to comb Weezer and similar to Simba, after about an hour, I had enough hair for a small kitten. I was very happy with PetNov Dog/Cat Brush Grooming Glove and so was my pets.

Now with every product, there are some downfalls and this one only had two that I could see. The first one is that I have found that it is difficult to get the hair out of the rubber nubs. You really have to use one finger and use an upwards motion starting from the bottom of the glove. This is one of the reasons why it took me an hour to comb each animal. Also I have found that the hair likes to stick to the other side of the glove but this could be because the glove had static to it. The other problem is the velcro that allows you to make the glove fit to your hand. I have a very small hand and wrist I really had to stretch the velcro so that it would be tight on my hand otherwise when you comb your pet, the glove will slip off. I had no problems with my hand sweating which was a great thing.



My opinion of PetNov Dog/Cat Brush Grooming Glove is that it is a wonderful product. Like any products, you will have pro and cons but I feel that the pros definitely outweighs the few problems I found.
