With today's growing tech world, companies need to know how their customers feel about new and existing products.
They need to know what will work in one part of the world and what doesn't so this is where paid surveys come into play.
They need to know what will work in one part of the world and what doesn't so this is where paid surveys come into play.
Paid surveys are companies way of getting opinions from the general public and in return, they will pay you for your service. There are so many different survey places out there that it can be hard to figure out which ones to use. In this blog, I just want to explain the difference between what you can get from each one. In future post, I will break down the companies that I have tried and which ones I am doing now.
Let's get into the basics of paid surveys. First, if you think that this is a get rich quick then you may want to look somewhere else. Sure you can make money through these and you can sometimes receive free product to try and review but there is no way that you can quit your job to do this 24/7. Now if you are like me and like to earn some side cash for birthdays or holidays, then this is for you. Some people have cashed out with over $500 in cash and some great products but not everyone is that lucky.
Most of these surveys are looking for certain people and if you don't fall under the qualifications, then you won't get paid the full amount or with some, you don't get paid at all. For the most part, all the surveys offer you points and once you collect enough points, you can cash out for either: a paper check(some charge a fee for this), paypal, gift cards, or you can make a donation to a charity. When it comes to cashing out, most of the ones I do require you to have $10 in your account while others require you to have $50. I have found ones that all you need is $5 to cash out but sometimes it is hard to qualify for the surveys.
Another thing to keep in mind when doing surveys is that the time it takes to do them. Almost all of them require that you finish them in one sitting and they will let you know how long it will take to complete them. Most are anywhere between 15-30 minutes long but I have taken ones that have been an hour long. The longer the survey, the more you can earn. I usually do my surveys late at night but you will find that many people do surveys and they reach their quotas pretty fast.
Now we will discuss what you need to take the surveys with. Most surveys want you to take them on desktop/laptop or tablet but you can still make money on your smartphone. I use my Samsung Acer and I have made a good amount but I'm sure if I was on another device, I would have made more. I would recommend that if you want to make the most from surveys, I would use a desktop/laptop or tablet but also remember that there are apps for most surveys too.
The apps are pretty much for you to use when you do a mission. Missions are jobs that companies want you to do and they will pay you really well for these. One mission I just completed recently was visiting a local Walgreens and taking pictures of their food and snack items. Then I had to answer questions in video format. The thing you have to remember about missions is that: 1) you have to be on location to complete the mission. 2) When you complete the mission, it may take up to two weeks before your account is credited for completing the mission. Like I said, they pay really well for these(anywhere from $3-$50) but these require some work to complete.
Now that I have given you a sneak peak into surveys, in my next post, I will pick one survey company and break it down so you can decide if it is a good one for you or not.
